Just a week since Wireless announced their huge line up for this years get together at Finsbury Park on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of July, they have just added a boatload more artists to the roster who are all mounting the excitement even more for this years festival.
On the Friday, rising hip-hop New Yorker A$AP Rocky and dancehall super group Major Lazer will join Drake, Labrinth, Nero and more for the first day of Wireless Festival 2015. A$AP Rocky’s debut album ‘Long Live A$AP’ features the likes of Schoolboy Q, Joey Bada$$ and Santigold and contains a shed load of new tracks including his chart hit ‘F**king Problems’. Major Lazer have been on the scene for a number of years and since their debut album was released, which contained celebrated tracks such as ‘Pon De Floor’ and ‘Hold The Line’, they have been one of the most prominent dancehall groups worldwide. Also joining the bill will be Canadian rapper and OVO Sound music label signee PartyNextDoor.
The Saturday sees another major hip-hop player join the stampede of stars already taking to Finsbury Park, Mary J Blige. Blige has recently moved to London where she has been recording a series of new tracks with the likes of Disclosure, Sam Smith and Emeli Sandé that will be released on her new album ‘The London Sessions’, which is due to be released in autumn. Also joining the line up on the Saturday will be Robin Schulz, Tinashe and Collie Buddz.
On the final day of the festival, which already sees David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J taking to the stage, Belgian singer and songwriter Stromae will be adding to the equation, whilst Rae Sremmurd and Pusha T will be rounding off these great additions to what had already shaped up to be a great Wireless Festival in 2015.
