For years, the Leeds clubbing landscape was lacking when it came to serious techno but a recent resurgence in the city, almost single handily championed by the team being Blacklight, has seen the likes of Chris Liebing, Tommy Four Seven, Robert Hood, Matador, Slam, Marcel Fengler, Joey Beltram and more play in the city with even a surprise event from legendary Leeds techno institution, The Orbit after 10 years out of the game.
After their second outing at Mint Festival this September, with techno heavyweights including Jeff Mills, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan and Pariah's Karenn monika, Surgeon and Skirt and more, Leeds based Blacklight are set to return to the intimate confinements of Mint Club with two more incredible bookings. If you've never delved into the world of Blacklight, be sure to check out the below video from the Blacklight Easter Sunday Party with Robert Hood, Blawan and James Ruskin.
This Saturday (23rd November) sees Drumcode boss and prolific Swedish DJ/producer Adam Beyer and Cocoon, Vault 5 and Ostgut Ton signee Mark Broom take over the ones and twos in Leeds' Mint Club alongside support from Bobby O'Donnell (system.), Ed Mackie (Blacklight) and Tiptoe (Blacklight).
Early Bird Tickets are long gone for this event, and with the event only a matter of days away a very limited amount of General Release Tickets are now left on sale.
