Citadel Festival will be taking over Victoria Park, London on Sunday July 17th, with over 50 diverse artists now spread across eight stages. After hosting their own space at Lovebox both days prior to Citadel and also taking the party through the night, Fabric will be returning to Victoria Park to host a Sunday Sessions arena.
As one of the most exciting nightclubs in the capital, Fabric has been at the forefront of cutting edge parties since it opened in 1999, scooping DJ Mag’s Best Club award on a number of occasions. Until this year, Fabric had never taken its dancing shoes outside of the clubs walls, however on the weekend of Citadel and Lovebox, the team behind the club will bring the noise to the outer rim in style.
Helping them celebrate this first time ever occurrence, Fabric have invited one of the most renowned British DJs to headline the bill, with another three super exciting appearances to boot. Andrew Weatherall is the one who will be spearheading the proceedings and with over 30 years of experience under his belt, a performance in his hometown is not to be missed. He will be joined by the German DJ collective Jazzanova as well as The 2 Bears and Pedestrian, all of whom have been Fabric favourites in the past.
This will be one of eight stages at Citadel London on Sunday 17th July. Others will include the Corona Sunsets arena, which will welcome Friendly Fires, Soundcrash with Submotion Orchestra and Beardyman and of course the main stage, where the likes of Sigur Rós and Caribou will play out the weekend.
