With the August bank holiday just around the corner, we take a look at the best parties up and down the country. Tickets on sale now for all below event. 

The Garden Party Pt. 3 - Huxley, Mano Le Tough, Ryan Elliot & Richy Ahmed
Sunday 24th August
The Faversham, Leeds

As the summer begins to close, The Faversham’s collation of garden parties also comes to an end, and to see off the season until next year they sure are ending things with a bang. On the line up for the 24th of August is garage come house hero Huxley, as well as Panorama Bar regulars Mano Le Tough and Ryan Elliott, deep disco house don Richy Ahmed and local favourites PBR Streetgang. They will be joining other local delicacies including the Butter Side Up, Mono_Cult and E.A.R Recordings crews all spread over The Fav’s three rooms and outdoor covered terrace that never fails to erupt.

Mint Festival Warm Up
Sunday 24th August
Mint Warehouse, Leeds

Mint Festival is fast approaching, and the team behind it are putting on a special terrace party to excite all those who will be taking to Lincolnshire Showground on the 20th of September. On Sunday 24th August, Circo Loco residents The Martinez Brothers will be headlining the affair along with the unpredictable musical maestro Tom Demac. The Martinez Brothers have long been considered some of the most talented young DJs around, with their residency at DC10’s infamous underground party now spanning four years.

XOYO Loves: Eton Messy Carnival Special
Sunday 24th August
Paradise by Way Of Kensal Green, London

The Notting Hill Carnival is annually a huge event in the capital, therefore XOYO and The Nest are coming together once again to throw an XOYO Loves day and night party, bringing new school house and disco institution Eton Messy to get on the ones and twos. Starting as a music blog, Eton Messy have been gaining momentum as a place to find the freshest electronic music through their Youtube and Soundcloud pages. Sunday the 24th of August will see the Eton Messy DJs take over Paradise By Way Of Kensal Green’s whilst food and drinks will be available throughout the duration.


South West Four
Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th August
Clapham Common, London

The annual weekender on Clapham Common is back in August, once again with a line up to rival every other electronic music festival in the capital. Now in its 11th year, SW4 is donning a line up that will sate the appetite for any dance music fan. The main stage this year is a frenzy of varied artists from Above & Beyond to Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. There is a host of big room and trance artists such as Arty, Alesso, Cosmic Gate and W&W as well as a whirlwind of underground house and techno including Josh Wink, Seth Troxler, Booka Shade and Marco Carola who will be playing on stages hosted by the likes of Sasha, Maceo Plex and DJ Mag. After the main festival finishes on both days there are a number of special after parties taking place around the city, featuring even more mouth-watering talent that cannot be seen during the day. These include Dubfire and Timo Maas.



RAMM Presents Claude VonStroke

A new club night has landed in Leeds and their debut event is one that is drawing people in from far and wide. For the first time, RAMM will be setting up shop at Vox Warehouse in Leeds to bring the Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke for a night of heavy bass and genre bending mixes. Claude has been at the forefront of bass laiden house music label Dirtybird for a number of years, churning out some of the most played club tracks of the last decade such as his own ‘Who’s Afraid Of Detroit?’. Joining Mr. VonStroke will be Audiojack, Josh Butler, Filthy Rich and a number of talented local individuals such as Matt Fear, Kreature, Marco Darko and Real Nice.


Ramm Leeds

Bramham Park, Leeds

Leeds Festival is amongst the biggest and most iconic music festivals in the UK, having had some of the worlds most reputable bands play on its gigantic main stage, not to mention the variety of other goings on over the 8 stages that are alive with music throughout the three days Bramham Park is awash with fans. This year you can see headline slots from The Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182 and Paramore as well as exciting appearances from a huge number of other performers stretching through metal, indie, drum & bass, house, rock, punk and more. The likes of Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Metronomy, Boys Noize, Schoolboy Q and Andy C are all appearing over the weekend amongst a plethora of others, and that’s not where the excitement stops. Comedians, street food, theatre performances, shops, bars, the after hours dance tent and many art installations mean there is always something going on in the festival village, and you will struggle to find a friendlier atmosphere in the UK.

Tribal Sessions All Nighter - Danny Tenaglia
Friday 22nd August
Sankeys, Manchester 

Looking towards The Mediterranean there is also a very special all night performance from two of the hottest house heads in the game. On Friday 22nd of August, Sankeys Ibiza will open its doors for Tribal Sessions, the weekly knees up that for its first year on the island has proved itself amongst the elite. With guests of the ilk of Andrea Oliva, Len Faki, KiNK, Shlomi Aber, Sidney Charles and Dave Clarke, it has thrown some ace parties that have made the best of all three rooms at Sankeys in Playa D’en Bossa. On August 22nd, the spearhead of Tribal Sessions Darius Syrossian will be bringing his masses of music to the Basement to play a very special 6-hour set. This will also be the case in The Lab, however this marathon set will be taken care of by the legend that is Danny Tenaglia. The New Yorker has been in the game since his early twenties and through his years as a selector he has been able to build a library of an awesome calibre. This appearance will be his first at the club in 7 years, so you can expect a storm of great music. There will also be original tribal resident Greg Vickers making an appearance.

Freeze Presents John Digweed, Paco Osuna & More
Saturday 23rd August
The Bombed Out Church, Liverpool 

On the Saturday of bank holiday weekend, Freeze will be hosting a very special party at The Bombed Out Church in Liverpool, followed by an after party at The Garage. This newly used venue provides a great atmosphere and this will be mounted by John Digweed who will be playing an exclusive daytime set. The Bedrock head honcho will also be joined by Spanish techno maestro Paco Osuna, Henry Saiz who is bringing his live band, Tom Demac and more. The night-time proceedings will see DJs from the day playing again in a different setting, providing different sounds, and with tickets limited to only 500 for both instalments it is set to be a wonderfully intimate yet energetic affair.

The Rainbow Venues, Birmingham

Below is the Midland’s revered daytime party taking place at The Rainbow Venues in Birmingham on bank holiday Sundays throughout the year. With past guests that’s include Inner City, Loco Dice and Zip it is renowned as one of the most musically on point parties in the country. This time round founder Adam Shelton will be joined by Panorama Bar resident Cassy as well as Circo Loco star Laura Jones, Blackhall & Bookless and Jessica Lamb. The music will be spread through the Rainbow Pub and Courtyard making up what is one of the most intimate and exciting parties in the Midlands.

XOYO 2nd Birthday - Oneman, Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth & More

XOYO, London 

XOYO are celebrating 2 years in the business this year with a double whammy of celebratory events, the second of which is taking place on Friday the 22nd of August. This will see Rinse FM resident Oneman taking the reins, joined by Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth and Kutmah. This impressive selection will be providing an eclectic mix of hip-hop infected house, disco and bass that will see in XOYO London’s 3rd year of parties with a bang. Tickets for this one are now in their final release and are expected to sell out soon, so don’t hang about.
