On August Bank Holiday weekend Bramham Park and Richfield Avenue will be alive with music as Leeds Festival and Reading Festival take to their grounds. There’s loads already announced for the weekend including a massive five headliners spread over three days including Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Disclosure, Foals, Fall Out Boy and Biffy Clyro.
The Alternative Stage is always a popular spot at both festivals, with its line up always proving to be a diverse and exciting mix of music, comedy and entertainment. This year the stage will feature performances from headliners Russell Howard and Bill Bailey. There will be more laughs from the likes of Marcus Brigstoke, Katherine Ryan, Lee Nelson, Russell Kane, Sara Pascoe, Impractical Jokers’ Joel Dommett, Holly Walsh and Owen Jones, who will be performing across the weekend.
Comedy will by far not be the only thing the alternative stage will offer at R&L, especially in Leeds as the arena will herald an exclusive performance from hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash. Propaganda will be hosting their disco dances at both locations, as will the Buttoned Up Disco and Rave Karaoke. Also appearing will be Kurupt FM’s Champagne Steam Rooms and Cassetteboy vs DJ Rubbish.
