Black Coffee’s debut album will be arriving on August 26th and will be titled Pieces of Me, the South African producer and DJ has announced. Featuring twelve tracks and a string of guest appearances from compatriots like Lungi Naidoo, NaakMusiQ and Mque, the album presents the deep, soulful and slick house that has become a mainstay of the South African music scene, earning Black Coffee one of the strongest reputations in the game.
First single “Come With Me” dropped just last week, but the buttery vocals and groovy highlife-style guitar lines set it up as a near-certain hit. A feel-good summer chillout track that will also work as a nice pace-builder in the opening hours of a club night, the track is hopefully a sign of what’s to come as we await the album’s launch at the end of this month.
Black Coffee can be caught at London's SW4 and Newcastle later this month, and will also be partaking in a show at The Warehouse Project in October.
