After an amazing first party that brought Techno giants, Dave Clarke and Luke Slater to the hallowed Mint Club, the guys behind Leeds’ newest (and in the opinion on many, much needed) techno night, Black Light has now released the full lineup of their next event this March.
Sunday 31st March will see the Black Light crew return to Leeds’ Mint Club with Robert Hood, Blawan and the man behind Blueprint Records, James Ruskin.
Robert Hood needs little introduction. As one of the men who invented minimal techno, the Detroit pioneer has been around since the beginning and continues to stay relevant in everything he does. Check out his RA podcast from the end of 2012 if you’re in any doubt...
With releases on labels such as Hessle Audio, R&S Records, Hinge Finger, and Black Sun Records over the past couple of years, Barnsley-bred Blawan has become one of the most fancied producers about. Also an incredibly in demand DJ, Jamie Roberts’ (Blawan) bookings include some of the biggest clubs in the world including Berlin’s techno mecca, Berghain and Manchester’s Warehouse Project.
In second headliner James Ruskin, you have the boss of one of the most influential techno labels of the past decade, Blueprint Records and a DJ that has played all over the world, including a residency at Berlin’s Tresor club.
A trio of incredible booking for an Easter Sunday techno spectacular, simple.
