Eton Messy began as a YouTube channel posting their favourite tracks to spread new artists from ear to ear throughout social media. Fast forward a few years and they are now one of the leading brands when it comes to young talent in the dance music world. After hosting parties all over the world in London, Amsterdam, Ibiza and further afar the Eton Messy crew will be descending upon Leeds on Saturday 24th October.
Canal Mills is one of Leeds pinnacle spots for a huge variety of events, what with everything from beer festivals to weekend long raves regularly making this flexible space their home. Eton Messy will be spearheading a party here once Leeds has welcomed back the ever up for it population of students, with new school duo Blonde due to make a live headline appearance.
Blonde’s music started reaching out ears not nearly a year ago, however the Bristol based pair were signed to a subsidiary of Parlophone a mere 9 months after their debut single was
Posted online. Having now received support from a healthy group of radio DJs including Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Mistajam, Danny Howard, Huw Stevens, Rob Da Bank and many more, their reputation has soared, with their autumn tour quickly selling out. Blonde have had festival performances a plenty this year as they have appeared at Bestival, Creamfields, Secret Garden arty and Glastonbury and their singles have all done major chart damage.
Now working on their debut studio album, Blonde debuted their brand new live show at London’s Oslo, with the show also being seen at Parklife and only very few other festivals this year. This will be the first time Blonde have taken to Leeds and armed with their new live show, it could be something quite spectacular.
