Bluedot announced their debut festival earlier this year, with an initial lineup announcement containing the likes of Jean Michelle Jarre, Underworld, Caribou, Everything, DJ Shadow, George FitzGerald, Ben UFO, DJ Yoda and Floating Points. The festival is set to take place in the shadow of the Jodrell Bank Telescope July 22nd-25th.
We have now been treated to another phase of artists who will be joining this already great bill of guests over three days. The first of the new additions is Beth Orton, the singer songwriter behind the recent release Kidsticks. Also just added is the snooker champion turned techno DJ Steve Davis, New Order’s Stephen Morris, The Charlatan’s Tim Burgess, Shaun Keaveny and Pumarosa.
DJ Cheeba and The Unabombers of the famed party Electric Chair will be collaborating as Lunabombers. Also appearing are Henge, Age Of Glass and Paddy Steer, who will be playing under the Space Cassette banner. There’s a whole host of others appearing too, with many other activities and creatives coming in to entertain away from music. Expect science talks, inspirational discussions and more.
