Last year, the Bristol Comedy Garden welcomed a huge amount of talent to a number of venues that would make up the biggest and funniest comedy event the city had ever seen. This year, following the huge success of the previous event, The Comedy Garden will be returning to the city this year from July 8th – 12th, holding home at Queen’s Square.
Returning to The Big Top and the all-new venue, The Apple Top, will be a long line of comedy greats, with a number of returning favourites and fresh new faces. Kicking off the 5 days funny will be Stewart Lee, who will be joined on The Big Top with Aisling Bea, Paul Sihna and Nish Kumar, whilst The Apple Top will play host to Katherine Ryan, Pete Firman and Ivo Graham.
On Thursday Adam Buxton and Doc Brown will be joined by a number of other guests on the big top with Live At The Apollo favourite Shappi Khorsandi gracing The Apple Top amongst others. Returning to The Big Top after a stellar performance last year will be David O’Doherty, who will be joined by Tim Key and more, whilst looking to The Apple Top will see your sides split by Stephen K Amos and Felicity Ward.
Into the weekend the likes of Mark Watson, Terry Alderton, Seann Walsh, Paul Foot and Nick Helm will be descending upon the city before the weekend is finished off in style by an all star line up at The Big Top, featuring Sean Lock, Nina Conti, Andrew Maxwell and Mark Oliver.
