The Bugged Out Weekender is back again for 2015, returning to Butlins’ flagship Bognor Regis holiday resort, where a rally of DJs, club brands and avid ravers will be spending 3 days at their new temporary home, which offers great accommodation options and a number of activities to take part in throughout the weekend, and that’s aside from the long list of DJs who will be entertaining the crowds at the same time.
The line up for this years Bugged Out Weekender, as always, is an intricate mix of the world best house and techno talent, hand picked by the same team who have pioneered 20 years of clubbing, making Bugged Out one of the longest running club events in the country. With many more to be announced, the highlights so far include Innervisions co-founders Âme, The Chemical Brothers, Brit acid stalwart Daniel Avery, house music legend Kerri Chandler, Maya Jane Coles, The Streets’ Mike Skinner, Ten Walls [Live], Todd Terje and Voyeur amongst many other hot to trot DJs and live acts.
Music will be brought to you in the many auditoriums and event spaces scattered throughout the Butlins resort, as well as pool parties that will take place on Saturday and Sunday at Splashworld, where wave pools, flumes and Jacuzzis will provide an exciting environment to hear your favourite artists in. Some famous faces that have hosted pool parties in the past include Skream, The Klaxons and The 2 Bears. There will also be an on site DJ competition hosted by Vice’s music magazine Thump.
For the times outside of all the excitement when you need a bite to eat or just a few refreshments, there is of restaraunts and bars to enjoy some food and drink when you need it, including a Papa John’s all you can eat buffet, a 50’s themed diner and the Beach Combers inn where you will find your seaside fish & chips. There are 5 types of accommodation available to partygoers at The Bugged Out Weekender, ranging from standard apartments to VIP hotels, all located just a stone throw away from all the action, so you’re never too far from home.
