Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, Kygo and more to play Wireless Festival 2016

As the staple pop festival in the whole of the UK, Wireless Festival has been bringing the country’s favourite artists to Finsbury Park in London over a weekend in July for over 10 years. Throughout the past decade, Wireless Festival has welcomed almost every huge star in pop music, with New Order, Basement Jaxx, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Faithless, Jay-Z, The Black Eyed Peas, Deadmau5, Rihanna and Kanye West being some of the biggest and best guests.

2016 will see Wireless Festival return as big as ever, taking over their spiritual home of Finsbury Park on the 8th, 9th and 10th of July, with a diverse line up of todays biggest stars spread across three stages. The headliners that will be spearheading each day of music this year include Calvin Harris, the DJ come dance superstar, who will be topping the bill on Friday, drum & bass overlords Chase & Status as well as J. Cole on the Saturday and finally Kygo and essential grime collective Boy Better Know, finishing the festival on Sunday.

Alongside Calvin Harris on the Friday, The 1975 will also be appearing as well as Bryson Tiller and Miguel, that’s not before the Kurupt FM crew take over the stage and there’s more bass heavy sounds with Big Narstie, Yungen and Disciples. Saturday’s D&B headliners are backed up with more of the genres biggest artists include Wilkinson and Sigma, with Craig David’s TS5, Krept & Konan and Maverick Sabre also turning out to perform. Finally more big room dance sounds from Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne and Dillon Francis compliment Kygo, whilst Action Bronson, Section Boyz and Newham Generals will be there to make sure the BBK crew are not the only grimey beats to be heard in Finsbury Park on the final day of the festival.
