Known for housing some of the most cutting edge lineups on offer in Leeds, Canal Mills will be continuing in the same vain of form as they are set to welcome a wealth of DJ talent on the 12th of March. The first Canal Mills Presents of the year will be welcoming an eclectic mix of selectors with the like of Heidi, Jackmaster and Joy Orbison all set to appear.
Having been taking her Jackathon parties all over the world over the course of the last decade, Hedi will be on hand to transcend the party vibes with her acid infused selections to get things into full swing following a warm up set from Leeds favourites People Get Real. Jackmaster will pick up where Hedi left off in main room with an insight to his chameleon like record collection. Having carved out the reputation as one of the top DJs on the circuit without having his own productions to rely on, you can be sure to expect everything from four-to-the floor house and techno to dance floor ready disco on rotation.
Things in room 1 will be rounded off by a special b2b performance from Joy Orbison alongside Running Back label head Gerd Janson. Joy Orbison has been at the forfront of the UK techno scene in the recent years thanks to his flawless production, not to mention joint releases with UK techno main man Bodikka, with tracks such as TMTT only further boosting his reputation. With roots spanning from dubstep, expect to hear a blend of bass heacy house and techno records from Joy O swapped and changed with Janson's expert selections that has enabled him to be a constant feature of Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson over the years.
Room 2 will be under the control of Manchester outfit Zutekh as they welcome Burton Joyce, GRRD, Dave Duffy and Damian Martez to the decks.
