You don’t have to head to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest this year. Get your lederhosen at the ready as The Tetley in Leeds hosts a full four days of entertainment between the 6th and 9th of October. Expect Bavarian beer, food and music in the masses.
There’ll be loads to see, hear and do throughout the week, with the festival taking over the expanse of The Tetley Brewery’s grounds right in the city centre. There will be a 2,000 capacity big top tent that will be adorned with traditional Oktoberfest decorations as well as food stalls, bars and the in house band, The Bavarian Rollers.
Oktoberfest have partnered with Erdinger to bring you a wide range of Bavarian beer to quench your thirst, which will be served in exclusively branded steins for you to take home as a souvenir. If beer isn’t your thing don’t worry, there will be plenty of other drinks on sale all week.
When you work up an appetite there will be several food stalls in the arena, serving everything from Bratwurst sausages to Brezel, Schnitzel and Hendl, as well as some tasty veggie options too.
Tickets for Oktoberfest Leeds start at just £8 and are on sale now.
