East Village Arts Club, Liverpool welcomes Chibuku Shake Shake on Saturday the 15th of February for the first time in 2014.
Glaswegian and one half of the infamous TNGHT, Hudson Mohawke is first on the menu. Signed to the labels; Warp Records, and Kanye West’s, G.O.O.D Music he is full of success and surprises. Known for his diverse style and not to be associated with one particular genre with DJ sets visiting all the corners of electronic music and beyond. At the trender age of just 15, Ross Birchard (aka Hudson Mohawke) took it all the way to the finals of the DMC World DJ Championships, its safe to say this pony has more than just the one trick.
Fellow Scottsman, and underground champion, Jackmaster is next on the bill. Expect a broad musical selection stretching from house to hip hop not to mention jungle and garage guaranteed to make an appearance. Jackmaster is an ideal addition to this already epic line up bearing a similar reputation as Hudson with his diverse track selection.
If this line up wasn’t enough, Yorkshire DJ, Paul Woolford as Special Request will be taking stage alongside DJ Zinc, Tessela and Friend Within. Unmistakably, residents Rich Furness and Harry Sheehan will be taking the party until the very end finishing off the bill with style.
Chibuku Shake Shake 15th February tickets unsurprisingly will sell out so early ticket purchases are advised as to avoid disappointment.
