As the new academic year begins, Chibuku have taken the initiative to announce their full season of line-ups that will kick off on Friday the 25th of September and continue on through to New Years Eve.
The 10 events that will take place on Fridays and Saturdays in Liverpool will be taking over some of the cities best establishments, with the bulk being at Chibuku’s spiritual home, Arts Club. Having thrown parties at Arts Club for many years it has become the brands staple venue and will host 6 Chibuku events this season. The larger Camp & Furnace and more intimate Shipping Forecast and The Kazimier will also welcome 3 one off events in October and November.
The opening party that will spearhead the three months of parties will see grime hero Skepta perform in the Theatre with Oneman, The Square Feat. Novelist, Elf Kid, Faust, Hiltz and Bssmnt, whilst garage favourites Preditah, Klose One, Matt Jam Lamont, C4 and The Pause DJs will bring some UKG flavour to the Loft. Finally, Hot Plate takeover the Bar with Nautz, Thom White and Gilbey.
October sees a keen focus on house music at Arts Club as Julio Bashmore, Hannah Wants, Redlight and Joshua appear in the Theatre and the likes of Shadow Child, Bondax, Jax Jones, Moon Boots and T Williams play up in The Loft. On the 17th of October there will be a special daytime event at one of the most popular venues within the Baltic Triangle, Camp & Furnace. Bonobo, PBR Streetgang, DJ EZ, David Rodigan, Bicep, Marcel Dettman, Leon Vynehall, Scuba and Special Request are just some of the names on this huge line up that will see Chibuku, Ram Jam and Feel My Bicep hosting 3 rooms at the warehouse venue on Greenland Street.
November sees the brand head back to Arts Club for a Dusky & Friends night as well as a very special line up curated by the one and only Giorgio Moroder. He will be playing alongside Severino, The Boiler Room’s Thris Tran and Phil Charnock amongst others. November is filled further with excitement as Midland plays an all night long set at The Shipping Forecast and Four Test play The Kazimier.
The final 2 Chibuku Shake Shake parties of the year will be back at Arts Club, with Mano Le Tough, Gerd Janson, San Proper and Felix Dickinson playing on 5th December as well as a very special line up to be announced for New Years Eve.
Tickets for all this seasons events are on sale now.
