Cirque Du Soul has been making its way round the UK over the past few months on its 3rd birthday tour, with special guests appearing all over the country at special parties where vibrance, colour and music are the ingredients to a unique experience.
This year the club brand will be branch out to present El Dorado Festival, leaving the confines of nightclubs and urban spaces for fresh air and countryside, where their ethos of planning otherworldly parties will take up a space never used before for a live music event, Eastnor Castle.
The grounds of the Herefordshire Castle will play host to Cirque Du Soul from the 1st to the 3rd of July, with a number of exciting live artists and DJs set to perform across the weekend. There will be more than five stage spread across the expanse of the site dubbed El Dorado, with The Lost Ruins, Treasure Island, The Boudoir and The Cirque Du Soul Stage all surrounding the main stage where the biggest acts will play, with these being just the first that have been announced.
Headlining the line up are the mighty Basement Jaxx, who will be playing a DJ set, as well as Craig David, whose TS5 project will see him playing old school classics in a DJ set that has won fans all over the country. Also playing will be the likes of Blonde, David Rodigan, Eton Messy, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Jungle, Mr Scruff, Tensnake, Shy FX and Toddla T, however there are still many more acts to be announced, not to mention one final main stage headliner.
In true Cirque Du Soul style, the music will not be the only element of the festival that is paid strict attention. El Dorado is famously known as the mythical city of gold, so expect some shiny installations and jungle that you can get lost in. Production is a large part of each party and their first ever festival will be no different. With boutique camping options available that include tipis and yurts and more stages to be announced, this is looking like a great first year to visits El Dorado.
