Cocoon Heroes comes to Mint Club for a Boxing Day

Just when you thought you had it all planned out; a night on the sofa, left over turkey sandwiches and ET on the box, the guys over at Mint Club go and release details of their Boxing Day spectacular bringing none other than Cocoon Heroes to the intimate venue.

In a time which recently saw the legendary Cocoon Club (Frankfurt) close down, some may say that Sven Vath’s Cocoon brand is potentially in a lull however, Cocoon’s excursions under the Cocoon Heroes moniker sees the brand taking in parties all across the globe including Canada, UK, Italy, USA, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia and more; reaching fans further afield than ever before.



Bringing the Cocoon vibes to Leeds’ Mint Club this Boxing Day will be Ilario Alicante, Guti [Live], Leeds based PBR Streetgang, System residents, Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell and Hugo Blackburn.



Italian DJ/producer, Ilario Alicante gained his early residencies at legendary Italian clubs “Cameratta” and “Pachamama Club” where he was able to hone is skills and gain recognition as one of the best newcomers of the Italian Techno scene at the time. Over the years he has played all across the globe at some of the biggest clubs on the planet, including early gigs at the infamous Circoloco and has secured a reputation as a Dj of the highest quality. As a producer, Ilario’s tracks have been signed to labels such as Nick Curley’s Cecille Records and have received support from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath, Luciano, Marco Carola and more.



Also on the bill is Argentinian, Guti. As one of Loco Dice’s many proteges Guti has drawn open his wide base of influences to produce music that is getting signed to a host of different labels including Desolat, Crosstown Rebels Wolf & Lamb, Raum, Defected Records and more. His quality as a DJ is undisputed, but it is his highly regarded live show that has been bringing him to the attention of many of late, especially in the UK where he has seen his performances met with particular pleasure.


It’s not every day a brand like Cocoon is hosted by an intimate club such as Mint Club and tickets are expected to sell quickly so strongly advise securing your ticket soon to avoid disappointment.
