Leeds’ very own soul star Corinne Bailey Rae is set to return to her home city for special guest appearance at Live At Leeds festival 2016. Live At Leeds sees a handful of the cities best love venues house a selection of bands and artists over a two day period with the likes of Jess Glynne, Mystery Jets and Rat Boy all set to appear across the weekend of 30th of April.
Grammy award winning artist, Corrine Bailey Rae was one of the most distinctive vocalists of the mid noughties with her eponymous debut LP featuring singles such as Like A Star and Put Your Records On. Both records raised the profile of the Leeds artists on both sides of the Atlantic with Put Your Records on scoring a spot in the UK top 10 whilst going on to sell one million copies world wide. With a return to her home town to perform in a carefully selected intimate setting, Corrine Bailey Rae will no doubt provide one of the stand out performances at this year’s Live At Leeds.
