On Saturday the 23rd of September Motion in Bristol will play host to the first ever Sequences Festival.
The one night only party will take place across three rooms inside what is widely regarded as the best club in the city and one of the greatest in the country. What awaits music fans here is a night-long knees up filled with the biggest, baddest, best bass music this country has to offer. Each room will be curated by respectable brands including Critical who will host the main room, Deep Medi, who will take up the second and The Blast, who bring the noise in the third.
Each stage will also have a custom sound system installed, with VOID, Mungo’s HiFi and Dirt providing the gear. Expect earth shattering bass as each custom made system will be controlled by some of the best DJs from around the UK and beyond, fronting everything from D&B to dub, reggae, dancehall and everything else that celebrates sound system culture.
Room 1 will see Noisia, Mefjus, Emperor, Kasra and a long line of other artists playing on the meaty VOID system, whilst Deep Medi will take hold of Mungo’s HiFi in Room 2. Here, Digital Mystikz’ Mala will head up another lengthy bill also featuring Gorgon Sound, Silkie and the Mungo’s HiFi crew themselves. The final room with the Dirt Sound System will be headed up by Novelist and also features Machinedrum, Levelz and much more. Let there be bass.
