After Deep Fever’s ‘One Night At A Disco’ event, which saw Medlar and Hamish Cole descend upon Mint Club for a night of slo-mo delicacies, they are back again, this time just down the road at Wire, for another trip around the disco ball, this time calling upon the London based DJ and producer Arnaldo, for his Leeds debut.
Born in Argentina before being raised in the UK, Arnaldo developed his DJing career through working at the revered Eastern Bloc record store in Manchester, whilst also gaining residencies at London’s Dance Tunnel, Tief and for NTS Radio, on which he has a monthly slot. Arnaldo now boasts releases on labels such as Blank Slate, Aim and Greta Cottage, fronting a deep, organic sound that will build atmosphere like it’s made of Lego.
Support on the night will be brought by the funk duo Twogood. Based in Leeds, these guys have recently signed to Chop Shop Records on which they have released their first track We Need To Move. Also joining them will be Deep Fever residents Will Eastlake and Gessture_.
