Defected records, a true heavyweight of the electronic music scene, will be taking to the Rainbow Venues this December, bringing along an exiting line up of some of the biggest names in house music. Having presided at the top level over the course of the last 15 years, Defected records will be bringing all their experience and know how ensuring this party is not one to be missed.
Having branched out from solely being a record label to explore other avenues, Defected records created the Defected In The House series of events which has been at the reigns of some of the biggest and best house music parties thrown throughout the country and beyond which are experienced by almost half a million people every year.
Having been set up back in 1999 by Simon Dunmore, Defected records have experienced great amounts commercial success with a series of releases that managed to break into the UK charts and even reach the covered number 1 position thanks to their release of Roger Sanchez's global hit One More Chance. As well having numerous releases chart by the likes of Bob Sinclair, the record label has released records by seminal and underground producers such as New York house pioneer Kenny Dope and Inner City's Kevin Saunderson.
When Defected In The House takes to the Rainbow Venues this coming December 12th a host of the best talent Defected have to offer will be on show. First up will be Danish producer and DJ Noir. Having firmly established himself as one of the biggest names in the house music scene, evident through the award of recording a BBC Radio 1 essential mix, Noir has released a range of huge tracks including his dance floor filler Around which went on to further success following remixes by Solomun and Subb-an.
Also behind the decks on the night will be Riva Starr, an Italian born London based producer and DJ who has consistently been at the top of his game thanks to a wide range of genre defying releases who has seen high profile remixes and collaborations elevate his status over the course of his career. Further support will be provided by long time defected associate Sam Devine, who, thanks to her turntable skills, has held down residencies in Ibiza as well as fronting her own Defected Ibiza radio show.
With the knowhow of one of the most influential and biggest record labels at the helm, as well as a host of some of the finest DJ talent on offer, Defected In the House at the Rainbow venues this December is not one to be missed.
