Manchester based Selective Hearing is bringing the party to The Warehouse in Leeds for the first time on the 26th October. Working alongside Abstract, they have brought together an experienced yet forward thinking group of artists in the interchanging worlds of house, dub and garage.
Off the back of his recent contribution to the FabricLive mix series, one of the undisputed masters of UK garage DJ EZ will be on headliner duty. There aren’t many DJs whose mixes are as clean and polished as this guy’s, match that up with an unquestionable knowledge of the scene (rooted in his long standing radio career on the likes of Kiss 100) and it's clear why so many years on this mainstay of the UK garage circuit continues to be so sought after.
Also taking to the decks will be one third of Magnetic Man, Artwork who will be sure to be keeping the night as bassy as ever. Also on the bill is Roska (appear with his energetic MC Jamie George). Producing a sound quite like no one else; with swung percussion and sub-bass, influenced by minimalism and funk often with sprinklings of his own vocals, he is the perfect addition to the mix. For those with the stamina to last, finishing off the offerings in the main room will be Mickey Pearce and H.E.N.C.H. signing New York Transit Authority who'll bring a special back-to-back set to close the night in the wee hours of 4-6am.
In Room Two the crowd will be joined by Leeds brands Nudist, Mist and Less is More as well as up and coming diverse bass producer Hijinx and Liverpudlian producer John Mcandrew taking to the turn tables.
This type of lineup doesn't come around to often in a city heavily dominated by straight up house and techno, so be sure to take advantage whilst the going is good.
