Chibuku Shake Shake returns to Arts Club on the 5th of June, with the number one selling house head Breach headlining proceedings alongside Dense & Pika, Hackman, Friend Within, a special guest and more.
After Chibuku’s incredible 15th anniversary in March that saw a double event at Camp & Furnace and their home at Arts Club, which was followed by last months residents party, the guests are rolling back through the door as the prestigious Liverpool club brand prepare to bring Breach to Arts Club’s main room. Breach is most well known for his number one single Jack, which topped the charts back in 2013, however he has been causing a more recent ruckus with the 2014 single Key, which features the US hip-hop mistress Kelis.
Also appearing at Chibuku on the 5th of June will be the superb garage cutsman DJ EZ. If you haven’t seen DJ EZ’s Boiler Room performance, this is well worth checking, as it will give you an idea of how creative this guy is behind the decks. Looping, scratching and fader tricks are just some of the ways DJ EZ will keep a crowd immersed through a performance filled with garage classics. Tough techno duo Dense & Pika will also be appearing, who have again made waves over the past couple of years with a number of revered underground anthems, including last years Colt and a number of Hotflush favourites including Crispy Duck and their remix of Paul Woolford’s Erotic Discourse. Hackman will be providing further support in The Theatre with Chibuku resident SG Lewis warming things up.
The Loft will be welcoming a special guest headliner who is yet to be announced, as well as Friend Within, Wookie and resident John McAndrew. The Bar room will also be seeing plenty of tasty beats as Dot. are recruited to host the proceedings there.
