EDC UK, the 2-day electronic music festival expanded from the USA’s huge Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is fast approaching, and there has now been another 30+ acts announced who will be performing over the course of the weekend.
Starting in 2008, the Electric Daisy Carnival has been a favourite of many music fans as it has hosted weekend long events in many American states such as Las Vegas, Florida and California, bringing a host of the worlds most famous dance music acts to perform on their many stages, awash with pyrotechnics, LED light panels, interactive art, roaming performers and more lasers than you can shake a stick at. In 2013, the first ever EDC took place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that brought over the stunning visuals and ever-impressive music bill to christen its first occurrence. In 2014, EDC UK will be taking place at the Milton Keynes Bowl, providing more space, sounds and excitement.
The line-up for EDC UK is already huge, with the likes of Calvin Harris, Marco Carola, Fatboy Slim, Davide Squillace, Avicii, Hot Since 82, Timo Maas, Dubfire, A-Trak, Jack Beats, Martin Garrix, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk appearing, spread over the space of three large stages.
Now the line-up for EDC UK 2014 has just got even bigger. It has just been announced that this already mouth watering selection of guests will be joined by even more acts including very special guest and DJ Mag’s No 1 DJ, Hardwell. Joining the three stages already announced will be two additional areas hosted by hard dance brands Tidy and Goodgreef Xtra Hard. Appearing on these stages will be the likes of The Tidy Boys, BK, Alex Kidd, Rob Tissera, Organ Donors, Kutski and Maddox amongst others. For those who like it hard this will be the place to be.
Furthermore, just added to the Cosmic Meadow line up is Cadenza star Andrea Oliva who’s many appearances in Ibiza for Ants amongst other reputable brands have proved this is a big year for the Swiss DJ and producer. Route 94 and Pendulum will also be taking to this stage whilst Nick Curly, Miguel Campbell and American legend Kerri Chandler will be bringing even more top quality house and techno. The Circuit Grounds arena has also had some additional announcements, as award winning progressive DJ Andy Moor will be going back to back with trance star Lange as well as Jordan Suckley and Jaytech. Finally, Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard whose show boasts 1.8 million listeners will be joining the Circuit Grounds arena. All these exciting editions are making the second ever EDC UK a huge date in this years festival calendar and will join you at Milton Keynes Bowl for what will be a fantastic weekend.
