Known for his eclectic bass driven, energetic sets which blur the lines between live editing and remixing of dub-step, electro hip-hop and more, Eprom is the perfect addition to the ever growing list of artists The Hifi Club's (Leeds, UK) in house team have brought to the north of England – with previous guests including Onra, The Gaslamp Killer and a full compliment of The Eglo Records crew.
With releases on labels including Warp Records, Bad Acid, Rwina Records and Leisure System, Alexander Dennis (aka Eprom) is beginning to receive the wider spread recognition he deserves with huge players including Skream, Rusko, Flying Lotus, Rustie, Megasoid, Megasoid, The Glitch Mob and one of the BBC’s biggest music heads Mary Anne Hobbs.
The much anticipated Halflife LP, set for release on 14th October, (artwork below courtesy of David OReilly) will follow up the 2012 Metahuman album and will no doubt continue to bring Eprom further into the foreground of the underground.
Currently in the middle of a European tour that will see stop offs in Switzerland, Poland, Holland, Belgium and Germany, Thursday 26th September will be the only chance to catch the “savage synth wizard & mad beat scientist” live in the UK, in the intimate confinements of Leeds basement club, Hifi.
