MADE Birmingham is a celebration of arts, music and culture taking place across Digbeth’s entertainment district. MADE in Birmingham is a collaboration between discerning clubbing hot spot The Rainbow Venues and Birmingham’s own legendary music institution, Global Gathering. Working alongside key partners and artists in Birmingham’s music scene, MADE Birmingham will showcase the second city’s reputation as a diverse, imaginative and groundbreaking creative hub.
The first of MADE Birmingham’s weekend of events is to take place over the first weekend in May where a string of world renowned clubbing brands come to different parts of The Rainbow Venues to put on their shows which form the body of the line up. MADE in Birmingham will be a combination of daytime and night time events spanning over the whole weekend, daytime events taking place in the Rainbow Arena and Air Car Park whilst the Warehouse, Textiles Factory, Garden and Street will be used in the evening.
This year MADE in Birmingham will be welcoming a number of local promoters as well as some exciting clubbing brands, which have in the past seen residencies in Ibiza and further afar. On the Friday, The Digbeth Dining Club (recent winner of the coveted ‘Best Street Food Event’) will be hosting the regional heat of The British Street Food Awards, giving you the chance to visit some of the UK’s best street food stalls to taste their food cooked fresh in front of you.
