This year the return of Groovefest sees the festival partner with a number of the world’s best music labels and outfits, with the list having just been announced this week.
In a feat to further what Groovefest started last year there have been two new arenas added, The Marina and The Colosseum. The Marina area of the resort will have specially constructed stage for the first time this year that will come alive when the sun sets. During the day there will be parties on the private beach reserved for Groovefest guests only, which boasts Jacuzzis, loungers and 2 bars stocked with premium spirits and alcohol. There will also be pool parties with a raised DJ booth and stone pillars that have given the area the Colosseum name.
Groovefest have teamed up with some of the greatest labels, promoters and DJs from all over the world to ensure that all the parties at these otherworldly locations are the best they can be. The week will kick off on the 6th of September with MadTech Records before Egg LDN and Roush & Sanity host parties on the 7th. The third day will welcome Dennis Ferrer’s label Objektivity as well as Area 10. The following day sees Anja Schneider’s Mobilee, LWE and Tru5t taking to the pool and beach, with Defected in The House, Skreamizm, Deep House Amsterdam and FACT Barcelona rounding off the week. Added to all these great brands, there will also be a Groovefest stage every day of the week throughout the festival.
Across all these stages there will be a serious shed load of talent providing the music all week, with the likes of Bill Patrick, Art Department, Cuartero, DJ Pierre, Darius Syrossian, Fur Coat, Kenny Dope, Kevin Saunderson, Nick Curly, Norman Jay MBE, Randall M, Skream and many more playing for this selection of illustrious clubbing partners.
