Album Of The Week: Bastille - Doom Days

Album Of The Week: Bastille - Doom Days

Stefan Gandhi | Features & Interviews
With the sweetest of sounds coming from the speakers of the Ticket Arena office it would be mighty selfish of us to keep them to ourselves, so we thought we’d let you in on what our staff use to soundtrack a hard day’s work. Now a weekly feature with the intent of bringing your attention to wonderful new sounds every Tuesday, our Album Of The Week looks at releases from the best in the game, whether fresh new acts about to hit the big time or established artists reminding the world of their continued talent. Simply put, it’s just the best in music that we think you should hear.

The journey has been quite something for London indie quartet Bastille, with a career that has taken them across the globe since the release of their smash hit single ‘Pompeii’ back in 2013. Roll forward to 2019 and the group have now released their latest LP titled Doom Days, a beautiful collection of pop songs that will have fans moving this festival season. Featuring favourites on this album from the likes of ‘Joy’, ‘Doom Days’ and ‘Those Nights’ to ‘Another Place’, ‘Bad Decision’ and ‘The Waves’, get hooked on this 11-track release that promises to have you singing along to the positive vibes of this incredible piece of work from the English group.

Catch Citadel Festival at Gunnersbury Park, London on Sunday 14th July.
