Here at Ticket Arena, we like to keep our eyes peels - and more importantly our ears close to the ground in terms of the freshest of releases, which is why our office speakers are constantly soundtracking our hard day’s work with some of the newest sounds out there. We’re here to share our favourites, as every Monday we’re committed to delivering our Album Of The Week, featuring the albums that caught our attention, the artists that deserve the recognition and simply put, the absolute bops that made us move.
Experts say that this current winter season is the warmest on record, with London’s temperature reaching highs of 21c recently, perhaps more should be listening to what climate change activist Greta Thurnberg has to say. No qualms for Ms Banks though, as she’s breezing through with some of the iciest bars in existence - for the London rapper it’s ‘The Coldest Winter Ever’ still as she’s gone ahead and released part two of the extensive grime-tinted project. While Part One revolved around trap concepts, the second instalment features afrobeat inspired rhythms and dancehall melodies, creating lively beats for Ms Banks to spit her sub-zero lyrics.
Ms Banks returns to Malta in the summer of 2020, taking on another set at Annie Mac’s Lost & Found Festival, which will take place between Thursday 30th April and Monday 4th May.
