Hospital Records and their world-renowned events arm Hospitality have evolved dramatically since starting out life over two decades ago.
This latest move to stage their own five-day overseas festival feels like a quantum leap from anything they’ve done before. In recent times the label has hosted another hugely successful Hospitality in the Park which attracted 12,000 dnb fans and unveiled their debut winter festival, Shockout, which transformed The Bath and West Showground into a bass music utopia.
Landing on the stunning beaches of Tisno along the western coast of Croatia, this event is sure to offer the most fantastic combination of idyllic surroundings and tantalizing music. Whilst there are numerous brands promising the finest representations of every sub-genre you could imagine during the main festival don’t forget about the gargantuan line-ups for the boat parties and afterhours events.
If you want to experience the stunning natural beauty of Croatia whilst also soaking up a monster dnb show then make sure you don’t miss this truly memorable debut festival.
Ones to watch: Flava D
Over the last few years Flava D has forged a reputation as one of the vibrant UK talents in the bass music scene, whilst also enjoying major success as one third of bassline super group TQD alongside Royal T and DJ Q.
Usually known for lighting up clubs and festivals from Manchester to Mumbai with her supercharged bassline style, her appearance in Croatia is all about drum n bass.
Stepping outside her usual arena as an artist, this is a set you just know is bound to contain thunderous beats and experimental sounds, meaning you’d be foolish to miss her slot.
Ones to watch: Andy C
When Hospitality announced they were going to be holding their first overseas festival this summer it was a rather pleasant surprise to see RAM Records head honcho Andy C on the bill.
Whilst there are gargantuan names everywhere you look few would’ve expected such a titan of a rival label to make an appearance. That being said the dnb scene in particular is one of the friendliest you will encounter across the entire musical spectrum.
Taking up the headline slot for the Hospitality stage, you can expect three hours of the most exhilarating beats, full of tantalizing mashups and stacks of unreleased music which have become a signature mark of The Executioner’s sets.
