A sister festival to Halloween scareathon Fear Fest, Spring Fest is another of the year’s highlights at Magna in Rotherham, bringing a barrage of huge bass music stars to the arena thanks to Wired Events. Taking place on Easter Sunday, Spring Fest makes use of four stages to divide up the 5500+ capacity space, which normally acts as a science centre.
This year returning as SF17, the festival will feature the new outdoor Main Stage South, with a DJ-focussed lineup topped by Eats Everything, Richy Ahmed and Solardo, with each given two hours to construct their sets in whatever way they see fit. Main Stage North is given over to live acts, with Tinie Tempah & Charlsey, Gorgon City and Redlight starring, whilst the returning Face of Steel and Red Arenas will feature plenty of grime thanks to Bugzy Malone, Mist, Preditah and Flava D. Jamie Duggan, Holy Goof and Deadbeat UK ft Forca are among other acts to feature.

Having sold out last year, Spring Fest can be expected to be busy again in 2017, with the stacked lineup sure to appeal to a wide audience thanks to the draw of artists like Eats Everything and Tinie Tempah. Promising a wild evening and a wavy morning, the mini festival is set up to be the perfect Easter blowout, with organisers drawing on the experience of five years of Fear Fest to ensure that SF17 runs smoothly for the duration. Sure to be a real hit among Yorkshire’s bass fanatic population, Spring Fest will get underway at 7pm on Sunday 16th April.
