On Friday 26th July, Portsmouth’s premiere party crew, Love Amplified, will be touching down in Ibiza for their debut event on the island and will be joined by some of dance music’s biggest names. Taking over the iconic Benimussa Park with a full day and night of the latest house and techno, the open-air venue will play host to the likes of Heidi, Josh Butler, Melé, Dusky and many more. Not that we needed any more convincing after hearing that, we asked the Love Amplified team to take us through the full line-up and explain why this one promises to be an unmissable event.
Heidi – Love Saves The Day 2018
We’ve been fans of Heidi forever, so when we started putting together ideas for our debut Ibiza event, she was always going to be top of the list. If you’ve ever seen one of her sets you’ll understand why – and if you haven’t, just watch this video then buy a ticket to the show and jump on a plane to Ibiza. You know it makes sense.
Dusky – Cold Heart
When it comes to house and techno, there’s not much that Dusky don’t know. Their sets are always filled with the unexpected, and for us that’s an important part of any event which doesn’t rely on the obvious party tracks. The guys normally play places like DC10 and Amnesia, so to have them with us at Benimussa is going to be pretty special.
Melé – The Beyoncé Track
Melé has been around for a while but he’s exploded lately and everything he touches turns to gold. If you’re a fan of eclectic sets that bring in elements of house, hip hop, techno and everything in-between – he’s your man. Definitely a party starter.
Josh Butler – Inside
The phrase ‘forward-thinking house and techno’ gets thrown around a lot, but Josh Butler really is keeping his productions fresh and has found a groove that we love. Expect a darker vibe that is going to sound epic on the Treehouse Stage at Benimussa.
Soul Divide – Hanky Panky
House, house and more house. Soul Divide have been our residents since the very beginning – they know the Amplified vibe better than anyone and there’s nobody better to get the party started in our eyes.
Dennis Quin – Heal Me
If you’re into house music then you’ll know Dennis Quin – he’s been a mainstay of the scene for many years and since he started producing in 2011 things have just got better and better. Expect funk, groove and plenty of surprises.
D’julz – Remember
A true legend of the scene who’s been smashing it for nearly 30 years now. D’julz has a longstanding residency at DC10’s Circoloco so we’re beyond honoured to have him on the line-up at Amplified. This is one set you don’t want to miss.
Black Loops – Sex
On the deeper end of the spectrum, Italy’s Black Loops has been making a real name for himself recently, he was Traxsource’s #1 Deep House artist in 2017 and he’s just been nominated for the Best Newcomer category at this year’s DJ Awards in Ibiza – make sure you catch his set to find out what all the fuss is about.
DJ Steaw – Get Down (Dub Mix)
A relative newcomer to the scene with his debut EP dropping in 2012, DJ Steaw’s sound captures the early days of house music in all its glory and he’s been a mainstay on line-ups ever since. We picked ‘Get Down’ for him because it’s the kind of track you want to be dancing to in the sunshine, and we’ll be doing just that when he’s at Amplified on July 26th.
