Taking over the stunning Hopetoun House venue once again this May, FLY Open Air include a lineup of unmissable acts of electronic music in a magical setting. For this year’s edition, some of the biggest acts within the electronic scene shall be joining to create a stellar line up for the weekend. Fly Open Air shall present a versatile mix of electronic acts that are currently dominating the scene and it certainly is not one to miss.

Nina Kraviz

After being carefully selected as Mixmag’s DJ Of the Year back in 2017, and easily described as one of the most sought after and respected techno DJs currently - with the roles of DJ, producer, vocalist and record label owner all to her name - Nina Kraviz shall be headlining the festival this year. After years of delivering her sound at some of the world’s biggest stages, from Timewarp to Ibiza super clubs, Kappa Futur and even the Great Wall of China, Nina will be bringing her fearlessly powerful skills to the main stage. Expect a fierce mixture of various tempos and styles making her one of the most exciting DJ’s to see over the weekend. Solomun

With FLY Open Air being his first Scottish appearance in a decade, expect a very special set from Solomun, who shall be headlining the main stage bringing his expert take on house music. With his Boiler Room set sitting at 37 million views, as well as videos capturing him playing for hours at various after parties that spread like wildfire on the internet, Solomun can be described as one of the most popular DJ’s on the planet. Having continuous Ibiza residencies at super clubs such as Pacha and Ushuaia, as well as running successful record labels such as Dynamic and 2DIY4, Solomun has certainly imprinted onto the European house scene. He once said “People have emotions. So why not on a dancefloor?” Having been a well-respected producer for many years, Solomun continues his reign over the electronic music world with his own redefinition of contemporary house. Peggy Gou

Breaking through over the last few years, the Berlin-based Korean DJ and producer is everywhere right now, gaining fans from both the electronic music world and the fashion world. Peggy Gou has turned heads from her high-quality mixes to her stellar productions, and now she is becoming highly praised within the fashion community, having been at the forefront of a Nike campaign. Her sets contain a wonderful blend of house, acid, techno and disco, and her productions have a fresh take on electronic music today. Her EP ‘Once’ released on Ninja Tune was highly celebrated last spring, with the infamous track ‘It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)’. Peggy Gou has played all over the world, and her return to Scotland is not one to miss. The festival goers are certainly in for a treat as she takes over the main stage over the weekend. Folamour

Gracing the Boiler Room stage this year, French disco maestro Folamour joins the festival bringing his feel-good grooves and disco swing. The DJ and producer is quickly climbing high within the electronic music scene with his impressive productions and thoughtfully selected sets that simply make you dance. One of his most popular tracks ‘Devoted To U’ has contributed to his rising popularity, and with a new album in the pipeline Folamour will certainly be making his mark onto the current disco scene. Kettama

Swiftly rising through the ranks of Irish electronic music, Kettama is also set to perform at the Boiler Room stage. The house scene is beginning to take serious notice of Kettama, with his energetic, bass heavy style projected through his own productions. He has received praise from the likes of Mall Grab and The Black Madonna and shall be appearing at other huge festivals this summer such as Lovebox festival in London and Nova Batida in Lisbon. With a recent release on the major house label SHALL NOT FADE, Kettama is sure to be huge within the next year. Listen to his latest release below.
