Coming up this year is a perfect amount of Halloween events, day and night festivals, leaving you with plenty of choice on where to spend your spooky celebration. We have handpicked only the biggest and the best Halloween events coming up this October.
Let It Roll Opens The Portal
O2 Academy Brixton, London
Having previously been awarded Best Festival by the National Drum and Bass Awards, Let It Roll bring their hugely acclaimed drum and bass brand to London’s O2 Academy Brixton for their first ever UK show this October. Starting off in the Czech music scene way back in 2003 as a series of club events, Let It Roll has spread its legendary parties all over Europe, and are now bringing it to the UK. A lineup has not been announced just yet, but previous guests at Let It Roll events have included the likes of Chase and Status, Sub Focus and Wilkinson, so you can expect the best and arguably one of the biggest dates in the capital’s drum and bass calendar.
Stealth Halloween Festival
Wollaton Park, Nottingham
In celebration of its 15th anniversary, legendary dance club Stealth is putting on its biggest and spookiest Halloween event yet. The festival will feature full club sound & light production along with Halloween decor to one of Nottingham's most prestigious outdoor spaces - with the event taking place in the shadow of Batman's House - Wayne Manor (aka. Wollaton Hall). Revellers can expect to see Nottingham's best street-food vendors & pop-up bars, as well as Halloween themed cocktails and a fancy-dress theme. And no need to worry about the weather as the 12 hour party will be taking place under a custom built Festival structure. Stealth have called in some of the biggest names in the House, Tech-House & Techno scene to play the festival, including Michael Bibi, Danny Howard and Nottingham’s own Latmun – with many more to be announced soon.
Tobacco Dock, London
After celebrating five years of Drumcode at Tobacco Dock last year, Adam Beyer’s conquering record label Drumcode returns again on Saturday the 26th October, and what better way to celebrate the scariest day of the year than with thumping techno echoing across London’s docklands. The first wave of artists have been revealed for the day long festival who are set to play alongside Adam Beyer. Alan Fitzpatrick, Ida Engberg, Julian Jeweil, Bart Skills have been revealed to name a few, with more artists to be announced at a later date.
Terminal V Halloween
Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh
Marking themselves as the ‘party to end all parties’ Terminal V host their Halloween edition commencing at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh, on Saturday 26th October. With a huge lineup consisting of huge names within house and techno, including Ben Klock, Amelie Lens, Skream, Michael Bibi and more, Terminal V are setting themselves up to potentially be Europe’s biggest Halloween festival, with the new addition of a huge, brand new 10,000 capacity Hangar style space.
Magna Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham
The frighteningly freaky mini festival, Fear Fest, uses the expanse of Magna’s huge event spaces to host four stages of dance music spanning through house, bassline, garage and more - inviting some of the world's best DJs to perform. This years lineup features Redlight, Shy FX, TQD and Jay1. Paired up with the usual Halloween decor, plenty of treats and tricks taking place, this sure-to-sell out show is one of the UK’s best ways to celebrate Halloween.
The Royal Bath & Showground, Shepton Mallet
Renowned as one of the biggest indoor electronic music festivals on offer within the UK, Westfest returns to their acclaimed stomping ground of the Royal Bath & West Showground for a huge Halloween late-night party. With various stages hosting some of the most exciting names from the genres of trance, hardcore, DnB and UKG, including the likes of Andy C, Darkzy, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Congo Natty and more, along with high-end lighting production and heavy soundsystems, Westfest will not be a dissappointment.
Camelphat + Very Special Guests
O2 Academy Brixton, London
After a hugely successful sold-out event at Electric Brixton, Camelphat make a return to London this Halloween for their biggest show yet, hosted at one of the most prestigious music venues in the country, the iconic O2 Academy Brixton. Camelphat have had a huge couple of years, from storming the charts and breaking through as a major crossover act, and it is now their time to shine and join the elite club of great electronic music. Halloween weekend produces some of the most exciting events of the year, and this one is most definitely one of them.
In:Motion 2019 / Halloween: He.She.They
He.She.They is a beloved inclusive party based in London, and they bring their high energy of techno and house sounds to the south-west for a Bristol Halloween special this October. Globally renowned artist and house and techno producer Maya Jane Coles headlines the He.She.They parties, and joining alongside are Panorama Bar residents Steffi and Virginia. Also joining the bill includes La Fleur, Wax Wings, Bitch, Please!, Dungeon Meat, ABSOLUTE and local residents ZenZero.
Yousef Presents Circus: Halloween
Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool
Making a return to Bramley Moore Dock Warehouse in Liverpool, Circus host their all-day-long birthday celebration commencing on Saturday, 28th September. Spanning across the genres of house and techno, their recently revealed lineup includes big names with these genres such as Sven Vath, Peggy Gou, Seth Troxler, Yousef & residents. Having reached a decade of throwing parties, Circus began as a simple ‘house party’ hosted in one small room and has now become a globally recognised club night.
The Warehouse Project: Annie Mac Presents: Halloween Spectacular
Mayfield Depot, Manchester
Joining the programme for beloved Manchester party The Warehouse Project, as well as playing at a brand new home for the season the Mayfield Depot, Annie Mac presents a Halloween spectacular with some huge names invited. To name a few, Denis Sulta, Kettama, Special Request, Paranoid London (live), Folamour, DJ Boring and more play alongside the Radio 1 DJ and presenter. Commencing across three stages, this could be one of the most exciting Halloween events yet with a brand new venue and an unmissable lineup.
In:Motion 2019 / The Blast Halloween Carnival of the Dead
Hosting The Blast’s huge annual Halloween show, Bristol In:Motion present their sixth edition that promises to go bigger and better than ever before with a scary amount of cross-spectrum DJs and MCs, who are guaranteed to dish out some devilish basslines. The lineup includes Shy FX, Problem Central, dubstep pioneers Joker + Rusko, alongside huge jungle collabs from Voltage & Spyda and Chimpo & Irah.
