Les Miserables

The stage adaptation of Victor Hugo’s legendary novel is one of the most famous musicals to grace the stages of the West End, with the grand tale of the French Revolution causing a variety of feelings throughout. Your breath will surely be taken away by the extravagance of the show as Jean Valjean - or 24601 - let’s you in on his emotive narrative through song.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The 2003 mystery novel by Mark Haddon takes readers through the innovation and intriguing thought processes of it’s protagonist, Christopher John Francis Boone. The fifteen year old works towards finding out who killed his neighbours dog, uncovering many more mysteries along the way. Following multiple award wins for the book, the stage show has also been given rave reviews and is definitely worth a watch!

Surely one of the most pop-u-lar musicals to hit the stage in recent years and rightly so as this prequel to the Wizard Of Oz delivers fun for all the family with songs, incredible stage set up and of course, magic! Based on the book by Gregory Maguire, the ‘The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West’ offers an insight into the good and bad witches of Oz.

Matilda the Musical

Roald Dahl’s all time favourite book has already had the silver screen treatment, but this fresh on the scene musical offers something entirely different, with music written by comic and musical genius Tim Minchin, this take on the story of a girl with special powers will leave you in awe. A comedic yet heartwarming approach to the book, with memorable songs and even more memorable characters.  

The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s tale of the roaring 20s, with all overindulging and debauchery included is a whirlwind tale of lust, love, loss and most importantly, money. See the definitive novel acted out in front of your very eyes with this prohibition era drama taking over Gatsby’s Drugstore, expect prohibition style partying, nail biting drama and a literal car crash of characters.
