LA based punk band FIDLAR made a quick name for themselves after playing alongside other prominent rock bands such at The Hives and The Black Lips, which helped them cement a reputations as one of the ‘Best New Bands of 2012’, which signified their break, for years after forming.
Zac, Brandon, Elvis and Max are the four who make up the band, whose title is actually an acronym for Fuck It Dog, Life’s A Risk’, which was a name thought up by Zac and his roommates at college. The quartet released their eponymous debut album in 2013 and was highly anticipated amongst music critics and fans of the band alike. Their music has been used in a number of video games and TV series including Saint’s Row, Grand Theft Auto and Shameless.
FIDLAR’s second album Too is due to his the shelves at the beginning of September, a solid 12 tracker that follows suit in the first as it is drawing lots of excitement, with their world tour also causing a serious stir. FIDLAR’s world tour comes over to the UK at the end of the month as they both play Reading and Leeds, however after a quick hop around several US cities including Chicago, Omaha and Newport, FIDLAR will come back over to the UK for a string of British dates.
Coming back over in November, there will be shows in Manchester, London and Birmingham amongst a number of other UK cities.
