Field Day 2014 - Second wave of acts confirmed

Field Day 2014 - Second wave of acts confirmed

After two years of silence Field Day welcome SBTRKT back! His set in the Bugged Out tent in 2012 has been one of the fondest Field Day memories for many and his re appearance at the festival is highly anticipated.

Also on board is artist/producer/songwriter and Field Day alumni Blood Orange aka Dev Hynes (pictured below), who is known for his beautiful R&B grooves and for working with everybody from Solange, Sky Ferreira and Kindness to Florence + the Machine.

Australian dance/neo psychedelic duo Jagwar Ma, London based sound gardener/song architect East India Youth, Melbourne singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett, “Helsinki’s own Ariel Pink” Jaakko Eino Kalevi and psych-tinged Liverpool-based trio All We Are all also feature in the second wave of Field Day 2014 artists. Also on board are Austrian based SOHN, “London’s best new band” (NME) Fat White Family, Moshi Moshi’s Teleman and singer/songwriter Pawws.

Simian Mobile Disco
will be bringing something fresh to the table, playing brand new music and bringing their very special exclusive new live show to Victoria Park.

Also confirmed are Mercury Music Prize Nominee Ghostpoet, half-of-TNGHT act Lunice, in-demand Club DJ Éclair Fifi, face-to-watch Charlotte OC and Norwegian producer and “King of the summer jams” (Mixmag) Todd Terje - live, whose highly anticipated new album is out in March.

Moving onto the electronic arenas and Field Day also announce three very special b2b sets in addition to the already announced Innervisions’ founders Dixon & Ame (b2b) in the famed Bugged Out Arena: The brilliant Erol Alkan will join Daniel Avery (b2b), while Slackk will be joined by Samename
(b2b) and Jackmaster & Oneman will present Can U Dance (b2b) - check out the below video from their famous back-to-back set at the Notting Hill Carnival for a little taster of what to expect...

Joining Pixies on Sunday at Field Day will be
The Horrors (inches away from finishing their much anticipated fourth album), Temples and POND.
