London based festival Field Day will be returning to Victoria Park in 2016 as it celebrates its 10th year in existence. The 2-day festival that will take place over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of June is set to welcome a mixture of bands and electronic artists to its multiple stages which will be supported by some of the most recognisable brands and promoters.
The first wave of acts to be announced featured coveted singer songwriter PJ Harvey, Deerhunter and Beach house with Four Tet, Mount Kimbie and Floating Points being some of the electronic artists featuring on the lineup.
Field Day have now unveiled the second wave of acts that will descend on Victoria Park this June with Sleaford Mods and Daphni being amongst those being revealed. Nottingham based duo Sleaford Mods have been gaining more attention in recent years thanks to their hard hitting sound and continuing output. With the release of their 2014 album Divide & Exit in 2014 which was met with critical acclaim, Sleaford Mods were propelled to one of the most in demand live acts. Also set to appear will be Caribou under his alias of Daphni which has been his outlet for his house and techno infused productions. With huge tracks such as Ye Ye and Yes I Know under his belt, Daphni will be well armed when he takes to the decks at Field Day on the Sunday.
