Goldie, Levon Vincent, Craig Charles and more amongst first acts confirmed for Horizon Festival 2016

Horizon Festival is already getting ready for it’s fourth year atop of the idyllic Bulagrian Bansko Ski Resort, which will be home to thousands of party goers as they take to the slopes to experience a programme jam packed with club events, raves and alpine entertainment in surroundings you won’t be able to comprehend.

The Bansko Resort expands over 70km of powdered slopes with all levels available for every skiing and snowboarding ability. As the biggest resort in Bulgaria, Bansko offers world renowned off piste activities and some of the most incredible surroundings where Horizon Festival will be able to host their otherworldly parties.

There will be 30 parties spread over the span of 6 days at Horizon Festival, with music being heard from 2pm right through until 7am. These next level gatherings will be held in secret rooftop hotels, deep in the forest, bars, abandoned factories and even in medieval banquet halls. The 30 parties will break up into six parties every day that will front the best in underground sounds, with DJs playing house, techno, dub, D&B, hip-hop, grime and sounds from deep within sound system culture.

Channel One Soundsystem are amongst the first names that have been confirmed for Horizon Festival 2015, the sound system collective who begun playing at parties in 1979, headed up by Mikey Dread and his brother Jah T. Reggae, dub and dancehall are just a few of the sounds that you will be able to hear through Channel One’s epic system that travels with them to all their gigs worldwide. The masterful D&B DJ Goldie, as well as Leeds born collective Gentleman’s Dub Club will join them.

Levon Vincent, KiNK (pictured at this year's Horizon Festival below), Jane Fitz, The Menendez Brothers and Dan Shake will provide first-rate house and techno, whilst Henry Wu, Craig Charles and Flava D explore the worlds of funk, soul and grime. There are so many more artists to be announced, with the main bulk being announced in September, so watch this space.
