After the initial line up announcement for Groovefest’s festival debut in Malta, a number of other names have just been added making the already strong line up even tougher. The first phase of Groovefest Malta’s bill included the likes of Apollonia, Davide Squillace, MK, Chez Damier, Kerri Chandler, Matthias Tanzmann and Tania Vulcano, with news also coming that the festival would be taking place at both Malta’s renowned Gianpula Complex and also at the island’s Café Del Mar.
The second line up announcement has now landed, with a number of just as exciting selectors having been added to the four day long party that takes place on a Bank Holiday Weekend stretching over the final days of April and the first few days of May. Amongst the new additions is Hot Creations kingpin Jamie Jones, not to mention Crosstown Rebels mainstays Art Department, ANTS spearhead Andrea Oliva and Route 94. Also appearing will be Ralph Lawson, Laura Jones and Dave Beer, who will be playing as residents for the Leeds based music institution Back To Basics, which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year with an anticipated Silver Jubilee World Tour.
Also announced for the weekend are Riva Starr, Doorly, Alexis Raphael, Boris Werner, Danitez Saunderson and Theo Kottis. There will be more names to come, so hold on to your hats.
