Having been holding it down in Leeds since 2012, HighRise is set to take its brand of sound system culture to the west country as its first even in Bristol at Lokata taking place on the 12th of February.
Known for curating cutting edge lineups that bring together the best of both old and new artists in the UK bass scene, HighRise has rapidly propelled itself to one of the most popular parties in Leeds. Since 2012 HighRise has been able to welcome UK dub royalty in the form of Channel one sound system as well as the rebel MC himself, Congo Natty amongst other high profile artists.
With Bristol already possessing a reputation as one of the top spots in the UK for bass music, HighRise will be a welcome addition to an already rich scene. The first event on the 12th of February will see a full live performance from Manchester band The Mouse Outfit as well as an appearance from Khan & Kneek appearing under the alias Gorgon Sound. Also featuring across the 4 rooms will be Dub DJ and Producer Prince Fatty, Commix, Sticky and many more.
Tickets for the HighRise Bristol launch at Lokata are on sale from 8pm on the 7th of January. Act quickly!
