Horizon Festival announce lineup and new location for 2017

Horizon Festival announce lineup and new location for 2017

Horizon Festival have packed their bags and made a leap across Europe to set up shop at their new home in Andorra. Having outgrown their previous home at the Bankso Ski resort in Bulgaria, the 2017 incarnation of the festival promises to be the biggest yet as the village of Arinsal, Andorra hosts seven straight nights of snow infused parties. Horizon Festival will run from the 26th March to 2nd April with a pre-party taking place on in Barcelona on 25th March.

As has come to be expected from Horizon, the usual colourful array of artists will be in attendance to provide sonic delights in between action on the slopes. Horizon favourite KiNK returns while Amsterdam’s dealer of disco edits Motor City Drum Ensemble makes his debut at the festival. Further eye-catching additions to the lineup include the prospect of a b2b featuring Ben UFO and Midland, live performances for AJ Tracey and a helping off all things funk and soul from Craig Charles.

Horizon Festival 2017 Andorra(Horizon 2017 will take over the village of Arinsal, Andorra for 7 nights)

Parties will be staged across a number of settings designed to heighten the intrigue including: snow capped forests, a mountain top avalanche area and a previously abandoned hotel decorated to the full. With the music only making up one element of the festival, Horizon will be jam packing the peripherals with a flurry of ski and snow competitions, bonfire parties and the second annual ‘Horizon paintball wars’.
