This Halloween, London Elecktricity’s Hospital Records will be returning to Leeds for a one off special that will be offering no tricks, just treats.
Hospital Records has for years been at the forefront of the drum & bass scene, releasing cutting edge EPs and albums from the likes of Danny Byrd, Camo & Krooked, High Contrast, Logistics and Netsky to name just a very few. With these releases that always receive scarily heavy support from many respected DJs worldwide, Hospital Records also hosts occasional events at some of the UKs liveliest cities where drum & bass is treasured by both revered underground events and large-scale festivals. Hospitality, the name Hospital Records’ events takes, has visited Leeds’ O2 Academy many times and each visit attracts thousands of through and through drum & bass fans as well as a plethora of great DJs from the Hospital roster.
The line up for this special Halloween Hospitality event has now been announced and is headlined by none other than Camo & Krooked. First gaining momentum as prolific drum & bass artists they have released over 5 EP’s on Hospital as well as many other of D&B best labels like Viper and D&B Arena. Moore recently Camo & Krooked have swayed from their signature style with tracks like ‘Loving You Is Easy’, a funk-laden 4x4 single complete with catchy piano chords and an infectious vocal. Next up is Metrik, a producer who’s Hospital Records singles like ‘Want My Love’ and ‘Legacy’ have been fronted by many DJs on the scene. Fred V & Grafix provide more vocal rich liquid sounds and Logistics return to Leeds for what will no doubt be another show stopping performance. London Elektricity is (of course) also on the bill, with Lynx and special guest TC bringing up the rear as well as a selection of host MCs.
This Hospitality show will see room two take on house music for the first time, with wobbly jacking rhythm served up by Toyboy & Robin, Chris Lorenzo, Pete Graham, Grades and the very promising Scottish duo Mia Dora, who have been making waves this year through multiple festival performances and particular attention from Kerri Chandler’s MadTech label.
Hospitality Halloween tickets are on sale now.
