Tonight sees Yousef joined by Nick Curly, Miguel Campbell, Tom Crane and Pete Zorba for week 3 of Circus Ibiza. Ahead of tonight's party we caught up with Mr Circus himself, Yousef, for a little Q+A as he settles into the first season of Circus Ibiza.
How are you enjoying your summer on the White Isle so far?
So far so good. Working hard and travelling endlessly. Circus at Booom is starting to take shape after many delays so it's all positive.
If you had to pick a standout set from Ibiza so far, whose would it be and why?
I really enjoyed Richy Ahmed at Paradise DC10 recently, real house music and of course Carl Cox at Space never fails to impress me!
We have been hearing great things about the soundsystem at Booom! What do you make of it?
It's shaping up to be as good as any system I've ever heard, and certainly in Ibiza, and I'm excited to hear what it's capable of when it's run out a little too!
Amazingly I'm yet to hear another stand out track this summer most people are talking about. That's not to say there is not a huge series of endless amazing underground tracks, there is always incredible music around. A track I cant stop playing is Paulo Martini "Take Some Time", it's a killer!
Finally, do you think you'll be back for a second bite at the cherry next year?
I would like to, I've learned so much and I'm much better prepared now but only time will tell....
