Church will be hosting a special Christmas edition of Jamie Jones’ Paradise party on Friday 9th December, with the head honcho himself leading wAFF, Mark Jenkyns and Phil Kieran as they play out for Leeds’ tech house congregation. Though still relatively new to the scene having only opened in October, the inspiring venue has already become a cherished home to Leeds institution Back To Basics, also seeing nights with Louie Vega, Matthias Tanzmann and other remarkable DJs. Jamie Jones and his merry men will look forward to adding their names to the list.
Jamie Jones has come a long way since founding Hot Creations with Lee Foss in 2010, and has worked his way to the very top of the UK tech house leagues as a DJ and producer. Overseeing nearly 100 EPs since the label began, Jones has watched the likes of Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and Cuartero become household names, leading by example with two DJ Awards and a top spot in the 2011 RA chart. Also enjoying mainstream success thanks to his Hot Natured project, and in particular the top 40 single “Benediction” in 2012, Jones is one of the biggest stars to spring from the UK underground in recent years.
With other Hot Creations stars like wAFF and Mark Jenkyns also lined up, A Christmas in Paradise is looking like it’ll be a busy affair.
