BH Mallorca continue to provide the soundtrack for the antics of Magaluf’s pleasure seekers getting their fix of the sun drenched island. Along with the usual drinking escapades from club to bar, the hotel will be supplying the island’s party animals with a taste of live music throughout the summer. Running from June 16th until the end of the month, the latest batch of musical performances look well-suited to their setting.
Like it or loathe it, there’s no denying that the world’s biggest superstar DJs are the ones that play EDM, and few are bigger than Steve Aoki. Taking to the decks at Stage on Thursday 16th, Aoki will present his trademark mix of commercial electro, American dubstep and progressive house with mixing so tight it could be pre-recorded, with all drinks free after 10:30pm (as they will be for all following events).
RnB is order of the day on Saturday 18th, with the genre’s forgotten man Chris Brown performing before Jess Glynne’s vocal pop takes centre stage on the 21st alongside Danny Howard and Blonde. Following on from them, Thursday 23rd welcomes one-time Glynne collaborator Tinie Tempah, who holds the accolade of having had more British number one singles than any other rapper. Joining him, Chase & Status will see out the party with another typical set.
Finishing up on the 28th, the talented grime MC Stormzy is headliner, with his quick wit and aggressive delivery certain to whip up a storm. Joined in arms by the returning Danny Howard and Mark Knight, his set will probably be the pick of the bunch.
