Another date has been added to Manchester’s busy winter schedule, and it’s another impressive lineup too as Trevino and special guest Maya Jane Coles get named on the teamsheet for Joris Voorn presents Spectrum. Taking place on Saturday 28th January, the event will be held in The Albert Hall on Peter St, meaning it’s bound to be a poignant affair.
Rotterdam’s Joris Voorn is extremely well-regarded in house spheres, having spent the best part of 20 years on the circuit delivering masterclasses in funky, melodic house tracks. A whizz when it comes to selecting tracks as well as creating them, he’s a fan favourite behind the decks and has been hailed as one of the key tastemakers in a country that seems to churn out top quality DJs all the time.
The special guest is not too shabby either, as Maya Jane Coles has consistently been one of the most popular DJs around since bursting onto the scene in 2010. Producing house under her own name and dubstep under her Nocturnal Sunshine alias, Coles has been raking in the accolades and has also found herself at the helm for a BBC Essential Mix and an instalment in the DJ Kicks series. Backed up by Soul:r, Revolve:r and Birdie boss Trevino, as well as WHP resident Krysko, the pair will make it another huge night for Manchester house heads. Tickets will go on sale at 9am tomorrow.
