Julian Marley may be the son of the reggae legend Bob Marley, however his success as a musician is not just down to having a famous relative. Although undeniably influenced by his father's iconic music, Julian has made it his own and has become a Grammy nominee and worldwide star ever since.
Lion in the Morning was the debut from Julian ‘Ju Ju’ Marley, with the ’96 LP resulting in a world tour for the Brit of Jamaican decent. Having performed only a handful of shows over the past couple of years, it has been a fairly dormant period for the singer. The Fetes de Genève in Switzerland and a reggae concert in Bangladesh are amongst his more famous and recent shows, however in August he will playing up and down his home country.
On Wednesday the 17th of August, Ju Ju Marley will play a one night only show at O2 Institute in Birmingham alongside a number of special guests.
