With a debut sell out event taking place this Saturday, you wouldn’t blame La Discotheque for resting on their laurels for a short while. Opting to striking while the iron is hot, the Mancunian disco addicts have already mapped out their next dancefloor affair, returning to the Albert Hall, Manchester to wave goodbye to 2016 and provide 2017 with its first glimpses of the myriad reflector.
Heading up the party will be Candi Staton and Chicago house Veteran Derrick Carter, who will be playing a rare ‘Derrick Does Disco’ set. Prince will provide the soundtrack to see out the year, as Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor performs a tribute to the late artist. The disco doesn’t stop there, with Horse Meat Disco, Krystal Klear, PBR Streetgang and the Luv Dancing residents.
Tickets on sale 9am Friday 11th November.
